Transfer Email From Windows Live Mail 2011
Windows Live Mail 2011 is the current release of Microsofts email client for personal use (as opposed to business use). It is the replacement for Outlook Express (which is still loved and preferred by many people).
Windows Live Mail 2011 can be downloaded for free from Microsofts web page.
When I move from Windows Live Mail 2011 which email client should I use?
Please don't think that you have to use Windows Live Mail 2011 just because it is on your computer. Windows Live Mail 2011 is a free email client that generally comes with your Windows Operating System but there are other options.
Outlook 2007 comes with Microsoft Office and Outlook 2010 replaces Outlook 2007. Many people love Outlook and it is most likely the widest used email client for business use.
Thunderbird is a great email client. It's free to download as it's open source, and has an active community and support. It also facilitates management of multiple email addresses. (And if you do want to synchronize your email on multiple computers further down the track it is the email client we recommend as it is the easiest to setup).
If you're switching to a Linux based operating system you can look at Thunderbird or Evolution Mail.
And of course if you're moving from a PC to a Mac your options are Apple Mail, Entourage, or Thunderbird for Mac.
